Dr. Ida Pavlichenko is a co-founder of PionEar, an innovative medical device company for ear and hearing disorders. In 2018, PionEar was awarded with the Grand Prize in the Health and Life Sciences Track at the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge.

Dr. Pavlichenko earned her PhD in inorganic chemistry from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany in 2014 and an MSc in physics from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia in 2010. Since 2015, Dr. Pavlichenko has been a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Wyss Institute for Bio-Inspired Engineering, where she has been applying the principles of bio-inspired engineering for the design of novel medical devices, as well as wearable and integrated photonic sensors.
