Professor Charles H. Fine is the founding President and Dean of the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a collaboration between the MIT Sloan School of Management and Bank Negara Malaysia, the country’s central bank. For more than 30 years at MIT Sloan, Professor Fine has taught MBA and Executive Education courses all over the world focusing on operations and innovation. Professor Fine’s recent research focuses on scaling companies with their business objectives. His previous work addressed strategic supply chain design principles for fast-clockspeed manufacturing and service industries. Prof. Fine is the author of “Clockspeed: Winning Industry Control in the Age of Temporary Advantage”, Perseus Books, 1998 and Faster, Smarter, Greener: The Future of the Car and Urban Mobility (The MIT Press 2018).
